At Blended Roots, we believe every person has a unique story and deserves to be seen, heard, and held in a compassionate and authentic way. In order to achieve this vision, our work centers around relationships, healing, and discovering what makes individuals thrive. As humans, we exist in and through relationships and these relationships comprise our communities and society at large. From ancestral strength to familial dynamics, many facets of our relationships and experiences have led us to be who we are in this moment. Therefore, we all need to explore the facets of who we are to process childhood experiences, connect with ancestral wisdom, and revitalize roots that may have withered from traumas, early adversities, or other stressors. We value and find joy in helping individuals embrace their whole and true self. Blended Roots provides a brave and safe space for individuals and couples to be their authentic selves to achieve their greatest selves.
I know the magic that can be revealed when you live in harmony with yourself. I believe, at our core, we are all trying to reconnect a missing piece from our past to live with purpose and meaning in the present. To do this, we must work from the inside out. As a therapist, I hold at my heart-center the importance of an inclusive and safe space to meet clients with authenticity, nurturance, and support.
Areas of Focus
I believe in the therapeutic power of relationships. By joining with clients to bear witness to their stories, I use a person-centered approach to encourage people to reflect on their lives and examine their stressors and strengths. I listen with a non-judgemental ear and use open-ended questions to assist clients in processing and healing from their past, present, and subconscious. I have a particular passion to support individuals with Psychedelic Integration Therapy. Through my own life journey and commitment to the therapeutic process, I am a compassionate mental health practitioner.
